I actually enjoyed this more than the last one which I thought got a bit bonkers toward the end. There were at least some new ideas in this third (and final?) movie even if they came a bit late. I also liked the ending which was especially grisly and well-deserved! In my opinion, a certain new character introduced early in Halloween Ends (I don't want to spoil it for anyone) should have been in the Halloween remake two movies ago and explored in greater depth over the course of the trilogy. That would have made this new triple movie series a lot more interesting. The film is relatively slow. It's nearly an hour before Michael gets going and the bodies start to mount.
