Ive recently enquired about this to cosatto myself and they said they don't recommend buggy boards for any of their prams, as they're not weight tested for the extra load. I've yet to hear anyone say anything good about the durability of Cosatto pushchairs, they're all style and no substance. This is partly down to the stability of the frame, which – due to it being designed to accommodate the car seat – is built to be sturdy.

I’m not one to appreciate the logistics – you’d have to ask Kirsty for that – but she tells me in addition to being super cute it’s also easy to wipe clean of the inevitable baby sick and toddler spills.The front wheels can lock for rough surfaces, and I found it coped very well with a variety of terrains. In the space of a month the Cosatto To and Fro Duo has become a valuable tool in our parenting arsenal and we can’t quite imagine being without it.

The duo-directional convertible seat allows you to have your little one either facing you or facing away using a clever method of reversing the seat and fabrics without taking them off.

First, it makes them sleep all the time - which sounds great, until night-time beckons and your babe's been sling-snoozing all day long. It offers features you would expect of a stroller, like a life span from birth to 15kg (around 3 years), 5-point safety harness and duo-directional UPF 50+ hood with extendable sun visor. The design is bright and colourful (something I find very important), and I love how much this double stood out. Kirsty tells me that she finds the straps a little tricky to adjust but I haven’t noticed us being held up by a need to fiddle with straps, and as I’m easily the most impatient member of this family, believe me, if they were really inconvenient I’d know all about it. This means it doesn't fit in the back of our Seat Ibiza unless the parcel shelf is off, or we have to put it on the back seats (something we now cannot do with two car seats in there)!

If you want one seat parent-facing, it does take a bit more fiddling with knobs to get the buggy ready from folded- enough to be stressful if you've a crying babe and just want to speedily leave the house.The same size side-by-side seats can be reversed by flipping over the backrest and the two-sided hood. I want to dress the girls up in every silly-outfit-with-ears that my credit card can cope with, to indulge in ridiculous hats, to kiss little cold noses warm again. You can adjust the height of the handles, however in both positions they are more suitable for taller persons.
