We have Nerf Laser Ops, and this has it some extent with the App albeit it is a bit flaky with connections, but what about the others? I’ve always been a fan of Nerf Lazer Tag Phoenix LTX, and I’m glad they are still available for purchase. I like that this particular set offers great features without making the blasters too complicated to use. What’s great about this Squad Hero laser tag set is that the blasters are rechargeable, so you don’t need to purchase expensive batteries.Some blasters are more complicated than they need to be, and then there are also laser tag toys that are super easy to use with minimal features. Playing laser tag at home is loads of fun for both kids and adults, but there are also social and strategic aspects to it. I can’t wait to see how much fun my boys have both indoors and out with this laser tag set, and I’ll definitely be bringing it to our extended family’s annual holiday get-together so the cousins can give it a try too.

In regards to target vests, if you know me, you’ll know I’m not a huge fan of playing laser tag with vests. The smartphone laser tag functionality is simply a bonus; the blasters work perfectly fine without using smartphones and apps. The heavier your weapon mode, the more damage you can cause, but the less ammunition you have available.To select the team you’re going to play with, simply keep pressing the little button on the side of the blaster above the weapon mode button until your preferred team is selected. I do like the idea of rechargeable guns, but I would recommend these and say take the batteries out when not daily laser tag shooting and they last longer, or can be put into a remote for a tv lol.
