About this deal

Find and hold down the "Bind" button, (hint: it is the small topmostbutton on the top of the tx)then power on the transmitter. I also have Nickel strips and the other stuff to actually make a 3Cell LI-ion battery (incl balancer charge cable) but since i got this to fit i dropped it (rmain reason is l later found out you should really have a spot welder for this, you should not use solder iron on batteries). You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. Think I’ll go with the GT3B, I do have at least 24 decent AAs to get through so I can use them up and at least I have the option to convert to lipo should I feel the need.

So if I'm understanding correctly, you have a single TX and have tested across a few different RX's and the behavior with the steering is consistently bad with all of them?

Suppose we will have to agree to disagree, I’ll turn up to a meet or scale comp with my modded rig and use my spektrum radio, comfy in hand for longer periods of time, I can smoke and drive. Right now, I unplug the lipo by hand - I fed the JST connectors out through the base and unplug them manually when I'm done running.

Yes, I understand that ;) Still I'll bench-test it before swapping pistons, if only to get a better feel for the change! I'm rebuilding a Team Truck for vintage racing (here: There is a thread on a 10T carpet setup, but none for old-school dirt racing (read: not onroad with jumps, ruts, dirt, and very little grip! So i can charge and exchange as i want (no i do not charge them all at once like this, then all batteries would need exact same volt). Dont mean to answer my own question but like I said just wanted to get some feedback on FlySky reliability or if I’d overlooked any other brands in between.

For some unknown reason my PC won't read it and I can't work out how to bind the POS to the reciever, let alone set it up once it has bound. The Flysky FS-GT3B RC Car Transmitter is a professional-grade radio system that uses AFHDS technology for reliable performance. Ride on vehicles including powered scooters, mini petrol and electric quad bikes, dirt bikes and ride on toy cars. I'm using 48 slots of the 60 model memory (I use a spreadsheet to keep track of what is what) and though it's a bit tricky to program, it's working perfectly on everything from 2 speed comp crawlers to touring cars to drift to drag racing.

I once had to swap out transmitters because there were too many overlapping frequencies with my GT3B. there are two futaba S3305 servos on the front end for steering and a duratrax sx100 servo for the throttle and brake. I used a battery case but needed to cut out the botton, to keep it stable i made a new bottom out off Gaffa tape. In terms of quality ‘feel’ I actually prefer my Traxxas TQi but they are mega expensive and I’ve had two of the cheaper TQ models fail so not inclined to give them more money!New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . Any of you guys have experience with these transmitters, if so how are they in terms of durability and performance? I personally like the menu's of the GT3 a little better, along with the longer model names, with such a huge screen you think they could have fit more than 2 letters, and a number. I haven't tried all of them, but every one I've tried exhibits the same issue (independent of whether or not an esc is connected). If you did everything right, you should be ready to power everything back up and rock at this point, but it took me a couple of tries with my gt3 to get my first reciever to bind.

The Optima's steering doesn't require much throw either way, and I find that my servo is pushing/pulling about a quarter-inch farther than it needs to. The steering spring did break a month or two ago but easily replaced and has been fine apart from that. The included GR3E receiver features failsafe functionalities for added protection and peace of mind. Guy at our pond came out 2 weeks ago with one of these running in his boat and i liked the feel of the radio, and it seemed to worry pretty good.
